The Digitunity team embodies the spirit of commitment and the drive necessary to end the digital divide. We are experts from nonprofits, academia, business, and technology, collectively driven to ensure everyone can access to computers.

We are more than just participants – we are active changemakers committed to advancing digital equity. Our passion for dismantling barriers and enhancing inclusivity leads us to believe that access to computers should not only be a privilege, but a fundamental right for everyone in the digital age.

Scot Henley

Executive Director

Scot Henley is the Executive Director of Digitunity, a national nonprofit organization that aims to make owning a computer possible for everyone.

Since 2019, Scot has guided Digitunity and its predecessor organization, National Cristina Foundation, through a period of significant growth and transformation. Leveraging the organization’s unique subject matter expertise, Digitunity actively engages and supports cities and states as they implement programs to close the digital divide.

Formerly the Executive Director of New Hampshire’s Mount Washington Observatory and having served in leadership roles in technology sales and marketing, Scot understands the transformative role computers play in our lives and believes everyone should have the opportunity to thrive in today’s digital world.

An avid runner and outdoors enthusiast, Scot lives in Madison, NH, with his wife and two teenage sons.

 

Management Team

Brian Barrett

Director of IT

A Seattle native, Brian Barrett joined Digitunity’s predecessor organization, National Cristina Foundation, in 2000 and quickly revamped the organization’s technology. He has been at the forefront of its technological advancements ever since. With over 25 years of experience in technology, Brian has been instrumental in establishing redundant nationwide data centers and developing applications that have significantly increased Digitunity’s donation channels.

Brian leads Digitunity’s IT team, providing advanced toolkits, software, and technical support, all crucial to the organization’s goal of closing the digital divide. Recently, he developed a tailored version of the Digitunity donation matching system for a pilot program designed to meet the unique needs of a large city. As the longest-serving member of the Digitunity staff, his deep knowledge and experience remain invaluable assets to the organization and its mission.

Susan Krautbauer

Senior Director of Advancement

Susan Krautbauer is Digiunity’s Senior Director of Advancement, where she is recognized for her leadership in institutional strategy, marketing, and development. As a Certified IT Asset Disposition professional (CITAD) with over 20 years of experience in the technology sector, she has been instrumental in driving initiatives promoting digital equity, advancing women in technology, and fostering cross-sector collaborations incorporating environmental, social, and governance principles into business practices.

Sue holds an undergraduate degree in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota, complemented by additional training in organizational leadership, sales management, and digital marketing. She has held multiple leadership roles at CompTIA and is a respected speaker and author, consistently advocating for digital equity through her public speaking engagements and publications.

Karisa Tashjian

Karisa Tashjian leads Digitunity’s programs department, ensuring everyone who needs a computer has one and acquires the skills needed to use it effectively. In her role, she creates, executes, and assesses initiatives that promote digital equity, emphasizing cohesive, integrated solutions for device ownership and implementing sustainable device ecosystems. Karisa played a critical role in reviewing and contributing to strategies found within state and territory Digital Equity Plans developed during the Digital Equity Act’s planning stage in 2023.

Previously with the Providence Public Library, RI, Karisa served as Director of Education and developed a variety of successful education, workforce, and technology initiatives for youth and adults by fostering collaboration across stakeholders and creating cohesive, integrated systems.

Christopher Craven

Development Representative

Christopher Craven is Digitunity’s Development Representative focusing on Corporate Giving and Partnership Development. He brings over 16 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, operations, and nonprofit leadership. He specializes in developing corporate partnerships and leading fundraising initiatives. Craven holds a bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and a Master’s in Nonprofit Management from Hamline University.

Chris has worked tirelessly to support states and territories during the Digital Equity Act’s State Planning Grant process, building relationships and offering input on sustainable device strategies. In addition to securing partnerships with several states, Craven has established multiple corporate partnerships, securing funding and devices to drive impactful initiatives that enhance Digitunity’s mission and reach.

Donna Fuentes

Operations Manager

Donna comes to Digitunity with 20+ years of experience in high-level executive and operational administrative support. Her diverse background in early childhood education and the legal field provided her with valuable skills and insights, which she applied in her volunteer work as an advocate and mentor for trafficking survivors. This experience ignited her passion for serving vulnerable populations and pursuing a lifelong goal of working with nonprofit organizations in various capacities.

Donna brings expertise including board management, operations management, and program support, driven by a passion to use her knowledge and skills to change systems and empower marginalized communities. Throughout her career, she has consistently sought opportunities to engage in community outreach and deliver program services in various capacities.

Donna is an avid marathon runner, using the self-discipline and determination it takes to train for a race as motivation to lean in with the same intensity needed to drive change and stay focused on the finish line.

Rebecca Kelley

Program Specialist

Zachary, LA

Program Specialist Rebecca Kelley brings extensive experience in digital inclusion and strategic planning. Previously the Strategic Initiatives Program Manager at LOUIS: The Louisiana Library Network, Rebecca has led large-scale projects, collaborated with libraries and state agencies, and fostered partnerships to advance digital equity.

At Digitunity, she designs strategies for a sustainable device ecosystem, supports clients, and plays a pivotal role in designing strategies for a sustainable device ecosystem, supporting clients and stewarding partnerships, and overseeing the successful execution of Digitunity’s projects. As a board member of the Capital Area Corporate Recycling Council, she is directly involved in technology reuse and refurbishment. Rebecca holds a Master’s in Library and Information Science and a Bachelor’s in General Studies from Louisiana State University.

Miye McCullough

Integrated  Communications Manager

Miye McCullough brings over 15 years of leadership in nonprofit growth and relationship building; deeply committed to equity, social impact, and community empowerment. Having experienced neurodivergent and low vision barriers, she has been an active advocate for making digital environments accessible and inclusive for all. In her previous role, she served as the Director of Development and Operations at ExperienceFutures.org, focusing on utilizing AI to enhance digital access and inclusion. In her career, she has facilitated partnerships between large enterprises, media, art, and philanthropy to drive social impact and helped organizations and communities achieve their full potential.

Teodora Mihaylova

Project Manager

Teodora Mihaylova is Digitunity’s Project Manager. Originally from Bulgaria, Teodora brings extensive experience in digital development, research, and project management. With a background in initiatives like USAID’s Digital Ecosystem Country Assessment for the Pacific Islands, she has managed multinational projects and led stakeholder research supporting global development goals.

As Project Manager, Teodora oversees Digitunity’s projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and measurable outcomes. She also contributes to research, strong knowledge management, and data efforts related to computer ownership. Teodora holds a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and an M.A. in European Studies from Georgetown University.

Nirvan West

Technology Coordinator

Nirvan West is Digitunity’s Technology Coordinator, ensuring the smooth operation of core business platforms and equipping the Digitunity team with vital tools for daily operations, enhancing productivity, efficiency, and security across the organization. Previously a Program Officer at Digitunity, has played a pivotal role in maintaining the Alliance for Technology Refurbishing & Reuse (AFTRR) network and creating engaging technological content for diverse audiences.

Previously, West worked for the University of Pennsylvania as an IT Support Specialist, developing and implementing innovative technology solutions for both experienced and new users. He is an alumnus of Temple University and deeply dedicated to promoting digital equity.

Meredith Wynne

Throughout her 18 years of dedicated service to Digitunity, Meredith Wynne has played an instrumental role in expanding the Digital Opportunity Network. Her expertise lies in identifying and recruiting new members and cultivating robust relationships with existing members across the network. Meredith provides specialized concierge services to corporate donors, ensuring their contributions are effectively matched with recipient organizations to maximize impact. With her problem-solving expertise, Meredith navigates the complexities of digital equity with resourcefulness, ensuring the network’s long-term growth and efficiency.
